thee jiggle

Thee Jiggle

Multi-Dimensional Kinetic Sculture Performance.

Concerned with Body Image and Perceptions of Decency. Having Discovered emotional responses to this action a path of public inquiry must be achieved. Testing the limits of self esteem within the performer. To publicly jiggle is to free oneself of the fears of body image. An act that may never be performed.

Having grown up in a culture of plastic body parts sculpted into perfect moulds, ideas of attractiveness and consequently unattractiveness have creapt into our social programming. Strangely enough the best way to deal with them seams to be calling attention to them. Hopefully a little dance of awkward flesh could reveal something of merit to credit this embarassing extra skin.
