my name is paul a. kimmerly, however, i spell my name, qpaukl, with an addition silent q and k, due to an unfortunate encounter with interpol as a young man, i was given the option of or ov assuming an alias. i did this with defiant zeal not quite realizing the psychological and sociological ramifications.

that said i am an artist and more importantly i have a beautiful family of or ov three girls and a boy. my beloved wife, tamara is also an artist. we work together to create an intelligent family. sum of my feelings about our life can be found in my art. pieces like 'a Hole' and 'drrt dragon' turns parental lemons into lemonade. DIY custom culture mutating life experience into material shape; evoked into space through practical means like digging or sweeping. the broom and the shovel have been the two tools of sculpture i have used in my work. more about my work will trickle into this Documentia. i will probably post pics documenting the work on flickr and our webpage: www.mnsi.net/~family23/ we are in the process of adapting our own url but cannot decide what to call it. red tape.
